Joan L. Mennett

Joan Mennett is the Coral Company’s Vice President of Marketing. Ms. Mennett is responsible for marketing of all residential, retail, and mixed use properties, market research, communications messaging, property merchandising, sales quality management, corporate branding and positioning initiatives, overseeing design and development of websites and collateral materials, and serving as the public relations liaison.

Ms. Mennett started with the Coral Company in 2008. She began her career in real estate at Associated Estates Realty Corporation in 1990, where she served as the Director of Marketing Operations. While at Associated Estates, she devised the strategic marketing plans and advertising campaigns, oversaw all promotions and public relations activities, and hired and trained the leasing teams.

Ms. Mennett continued her career as the Director of Marketing and Business Development at Dorsky Hodgson Parrish and Yue, a national architecture and planning firm. Duties included the expansion of the firm’s residential practice, client relationship management, and directing the design and development of all sales and marketing materials.

Most recently Ms. Mennett was the Director of Marketing – Central United States, for Forest City Enterprises, where she was successful at the lease-up and stabilization of high profile properties in her portfolio and repositioning of existing sites. Responsibilities included overall business leadership in the region, property audits, market assessments, sales training, and directing the development of signage, collateral and new website designs.

Ms. Mennett has an M.A. in Communications from Kent State University.
